The Gist

Washington moneyline at -142, with the goalie gap doing the work.

▸Igor Shesterkin and Joonas Korpisalo are both on Injured Reserve, so New York's crease is thin and the Rangers' goal prevention is the main concern.
▸At -142, Washington is priced to win about 59% of the time, so you're paying a real premium for the edge rather than getting value.
▸Matt Roy is out and Pierre-Luc Dubois is day-to-day, which strains Washington's back end, but Boone Jenner leads the Capitals in goals and points to keep them dangerous.
