The Gist

Under 6.5; pass on the -218 moneyline.

▸At -218, Vegas needs to win about 68.6% of the time just to break even, which leaves little margin for a favorite that can't be trusted to cover that price.
▸Vegas's top goal scorer, Tomas Hertl, has only 1 goal and Jack Eichel leads with 2 points, so the Golden Knights' scoring is spread thin for a team laying this much.
▸Leo Carlsson's 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) lead Anaheim, and Ducks depth is hurting with Ryan Poehling and Cutter Gauthier day-to-day and Troy Terry on Injured Reserve.
