The Gist

Lean USF -5.5, but only a modest one, since the stat lines show a balanced, not

▸Michael Van Buren Jr. completed 17 of 32 for 205 yards, which is a middling passing output and leaves USF's edge at 5.5 points resting on the run game.
▸D.J. Crowther carried 23 times for 68 yards and a touchdown, a steady rather than explosive ground attack that should keep USF in manageable down-and-distance spots.
▸Ajani Sheppard went 9 of 14 for 92 yards and a touchdown for Temple, so the Owls' passing game is efficient but short on yardage, and a total of 50.5 fits that profile.
