The Gist

Over 53.5, since Ohio State's passing output alone threatens that total.

▸Julian Sayin threw for 367 yards and 4 touchdowns on 27 of 36 passing, a pace that makes 25.5 points look like a real test for Illinois.
▸Jeremiah Smith caught 12 passes for 217 yards and 4 touchdowns, enough production from one receiver to push the margin and the scoring total up.
▸Katin Houser got Illinois to 263 yards with 1 touchdown, so the Illini can move the ball, but they have not shown they can match Ohio State's scoring pace.
