The Gist

Under 8.5, with a slight lean toward it over a side bet.

▸Texas is missing Corey Seager and Danny Jansen (both Out), with Josh Jung and Joc Pederson on the 10-Day-IL, which thins the lineup Gore pitches in front of.
▸Mackenzie Gore faces Sean Manaea in a starter-driven matchup, and an 8.5 total leaves little room for a crooked inning to decide it.
▸At -126, Texas costs little for a side without several regulars; New York already beat the Rangers 6-3 in their latest meeting, so the Mets can score on this roster.
